Thank you to the Palo Alto Rotary ( especially Walt Hays and Ruth Schneider ) for  their generous gift  of $1000 that  has provided much needed new books and book bags for the Raising a Reader program.

In February 2004, the Rotary Club of Palo Alto, California donated not only 350 new books and 50 new book bags, but along with members of the Los Altos and Mérida Rotary Clubs, they worked with us on three community service projects.
